Music and dance are closely related to each other. In many different dance forms the dance is based on the music used. A good example of this is Scottish dance. The music used for it is very specific. In all Indian dance forms, the music has a major vocal part, and the dance is based on the story told by the singer. The dance is very religious, and often tells stories about Indian myths. There are specific poses for each part of a story and the feelings that the dancer wants to express. They both have a mood which can change the way a listener or watcher understands the performance.
